Triplewarted Seadevil

Deep-sea anglerfish from the family of Ceratiidae are called warty sea devils, and are the biggest of the anglerfish. Triplewart Sea Devils have appendages extended from their face with a bulb of bioluminescence, earning them the title anglerfish. With very little light coming down to those depths, the little sphere of light is an excellent tool to trick smaller prey into the jaws of the female. whereas males do not have that opportunity. Male sea devils have 1 mission; Find a female, attach to her and become a parasite. Using enzymes to immediately lock him onto the female's body, dissolving their own guts until becoming nothing but a portable fertilizer. Even in these cold and pitch-black depths of the sea, males eyes and hearing is more than enough to locate a solitary female. Because of this nature of their relationship, females are considered self-fertilizing hermaphrodites.
