Abyssal Grenadier

In the darkness within the abyssopelagic zone, the Abyssal Grenadier have well developed sensory organs in the chemoreceptor located on the head and the barbek underneath the chin. Defined as a benthic species, because of the nature of being near the ocean bed. In these depths Abyss grenadiers are considered apex predators, feeding on smaller fish and crustaceans such as shrimps and amphipods.
